Reports to: Director of Parks and Recreation

Summary: The Jonesboro Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual for this part-time position. This position will provide the right individual an excellent opportunity to become part of a friendly, team oriented work environment. This entry level employee will assist in performing maintenance and support functions for sport events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:       

• Assisting with equipment, materials, and supplies for sporting events. This duty is performed daily.
• Prioritize and plan work activities to meet deadlines. This duty is performed daily.
• Knowledge of various sports rules and regulations with the ability to relay this information to the public and participants. This duty is performed daily.
• Communicate effectively and tactfully with those contacted in the course of business including participants, staff, parents, and the public. This duty is performed daily.
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
