The Jonesboro Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual for this part-time position. This position will provide the right individual an excellent opportunity to become part of a friendly, team oriented work environment. This entry level employee will assist with patrons visiting the rock wall and coordinating with parks administration on rock wall events/parties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:       

• Overall duties include the maintenance and monitoring of the rock wall. This duty is performed daily.
• Responsible for ensuring equipment is safe, organized, and ready for patrons. This duty is performed daily.
• Ensures rock wall area is maintained and cleaned. This duty is preformed daily.
• Coordinates with parks administration regarding supply needs and event planning. These duties are performed as needed. 
• Responsible for assisting patrons using the rock wall. This duty is preformed daily.
• May render emergency first aid as necessary. This duty is performed as needed.
• May be required to use appropriate safety equipment for protection of self or the public. This duty is performed as required.
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Education and Experience:

Minimum requirement; general educational background without high school completion, plus 0 to 6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
